I believe what you meant to say was the Gini coefficient has been denoting mounting *equality* not inequality…?

We interpreted that a higher Gini coefficient denotes greater inequality!

But according to actual proven facts and statistical data, the Gini coefficient has been DECREASING in recent years for SG. So shouldn’t that indicate mounting equality instead???

Just checked it out - our source proved to be a bit outdated and inaccurate. Thanks for pointing out and clarifying! True, that would mean slightly heightened levels of equality indeed.
